The hotel was quiet, spacious, and relaxing with many of the comforts of home, including more than adequate storage spaces. However, it was very hot each time we came back for the day and lacked little niceties expected of a Marriott hotel such as real cups not paper, biscuits, and a kettle instead of a coffee machine.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were incredibly clean and so comfortable, making me feel relaxed throughout my entire visit. The service was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The location was convenient and close to various attractions, adding to the overall experience. However, the dining experience left a bit to be desired with the early morning music and limited breakfast options.
The hotel offers lovely and spacious rooms, although not exactly as depicted in the pictures, which was a bit disappointing. The lack of small luxuries like real cups instead of paper, biscuits, and a kettle instead of a coffee machine was noticeable. The service was outstanding, going above and beyond to enhance our stay, from recommending restaurants to complimentary treats. The location was convenient for events at BC Place, but noise insulation could be improved, and the ongoing area redevelopment shows promise for the future. Dining options were surprisingly good, with fresh-cooked meals available, although a bit unexpected for a JW Marriott. The facilities were well-maintained and provided a pleasant environment for guests.
The hotel room was a fantastic size, especially since there were four of us, including breakfast. It lacked some niceties expected of a Marriot hotel such as real cups instead of paper, biscuits, and a kettle for non-coffee drinkers. However, the rooms had great views, stellar bathroom setup, and facilities.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, brand new, with a large bathroom, and a fantastic shower. However, my view was obstructed by the Science World building in front, and I wish I had requested a higher floor to avoid looking into the side of another building.
The hotel had a room without a view, lacking some expected amenities like real cups and a kettle. The room had a common inner door, which was unexpected.
